The village of Gvozdansko is located on Bania, below the castle of the same name, which provided the silver and lead mines of Zrinski. The parish church was built in 1769 and rebuilt in 1963, but was badly damaged in the Patriotic War.
According to the instructions of the competent conservation services, the church was restored to its original appearance. The walls are built with stone processed according to the preserved original patterns, and the plastering is carried out according to the original profiles. The roof structure, exterior joinery and stone floors were restored according to the preserved details.
