The building of the College of the Society of Jesus on Jordanovac was built in 1930, and was registered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia in 2002, based on the decision of the Ministry of Culture. Due to the earthquake that occurred on 22.03.2020 the building suffered considerable damage to structural and non-structural elements. As a result of the above, the building became unusable because its load capacity no longer met today's prescribed levels.

The initial works included the demolition of the entire structure, where only the facade walls and staircase walls remained, supported by a temporary steel structure. After the removal of the existing structure, a new reinforced concrete structure is built next to the existing facade walls, as well as the construction of a new roof. After that, the facade renovation work was started, which includes the renovation of the facade and windows.

The project is co-financed by the European Union.
