During the Homeland War, the dams on the Korana River in Karlovac and Turanj were damaged. It was necessary to carry out rehabilitation of the waterfall and the foundation, as well as the dam and threshold. The rehabilitation consisted of hydromechanical cleaning and removal of damaged parts, then injection of wells and treatment of cracks and craters with special repair mortars. The works were performed in demanding and extremely difficult conditions for working on floating work platforms with artificial lowering and maintenance of the water level.
