The project of complete renovation of the courtyard building of the AGG Faculty of the University of Zagreb is part of the complex of the Faculty of Architecture, Geodesy and Civil Engineering in Zagreb. The building is located within the Cultural-Historical Complex of the City of Zagreb, and is registered in the register of immovable cultural assets.
The project includes interventions within the dimensions of the existing courtyard building, necessary for the complete renovation of shakes. The entire load-bearing structure of the building will be strengthened and the space and installations will be adapted, in order to meet the requirements of a modern workspace for scientific research and teaching work and creation of a pleasant environment for employees, students and visitors.
The intervention provides for:
- construction of new rigid reinforced concrete walls, strengthening of individual elements of the existing load-bearing structure and part of the existing foundations and their rehabilitation (if necessary)
- construction of a new internal evacuation elevator and evacuation stairs
- adaptation and arrangement of space
- replacement of internal and partially external carpentry.
New installations of water supply, drainage and hydrant network, mechanical installations of heating and cooling, electrical installations, and installation of automatic fire alarm will be carried out.
