The state of the stone bridge from the beginning of the 19th century on the Mrežnica River required static rehabilitation of the foundation by injecting lime-cement suspensions.
This was followed by the reconstruction and restoration of the arches, pillars and walls of the bridge with large stone blocks. The quality and quantity of the new stone is adapted to the existing original parts, and it is processed with fine bossing. The pavement structure was also renewed.
