At the site of the “Dr. Fran Mihaljević” Clinic for Infectious Diseases, construction of Phase A of the new clinic building is currently underway, located on the area of the previously removed structures. The total gross floor area (GFA) of the building will amount to approximately 8,629.56 m², organized across five floors.
All materials used in the hospital’s construction must meet the requirements of low CO₂ footprint and recyclability at the end of the building’s lifespan. Interior materials are selected to comply with technological processes, hygienic standards, and to ensure durability and ease of maintenance.
The external joinery of the new facility will be made of aluminium profiles and system fittings, providing air tightness class 4, with a powder-coated finish in RAL color. The enclosed thermal façade along the inner perimeter will be constructed from aluminium sandwich panels in a RAL color coordinated with the window and door joinery.
