As part of the project to modernize the INA Oil Refinery in Sisak and harmonize its work with strict environmental protection requirements, in 2007 extremely complex works were carried out on the rehabilitation of the acid-resistant walls of the 200 m high industrial chimney and the rehabilitation of the internal and external surfaces of the reinforced concrete casing of the chimney. Considering the complexity of the rehabilitation and in order to enable the uninterrupted operation of the plant during the rehabilitation, auxiliary steel chimneys were previously built.
