The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of the city of Osijek is part of the city of Osijek water utility infrastructure improvement project and its objective is the improvement of the water-supply and drainage system and of wastewater treatment in the territory of the city of Osijek and surrounding settlements.
Wastewater from the agglomerations of Osijek and Bilje/Darda, from the area of the city of Osijek and surrounding settlements, covering approximately 135,000 inhabitants, was brought to the device. The derived pollution load is 170,000 ES. The area of this imposing facility is almost 165,000.00 m2, and consists of 28 separate buildings.
The degree of coverage of the waste water drainage system in the agglomeration of Osijek increases from approximately 85% to almost 100% of the population.
